From 4:00-5:00 PM TDWHarris will provide training for sending text messages to female voters who need a little “nudging” to vote in this election. Texting is the easiest way to contact voters, and the app does everything for you. All you do on either your computer or cell phone is “tap.” It does not reveal your phone number, just sends the text. You can send up to 1,000 texts in one hour!
Join us at the HCDP office, 4619 Lyons Ave., Houston, TX. 77020. You can make a difference!
This is the first of 6 Sunday afternoons from 2:00-5:00 PM when we will follow-up with calls to the women who received our postcards. None of these women voted in 2014. We will get to know them and persuade them to vote!
Phone-banking: Are you reluctant to call strangers? Overcome your reluctance by hearing Jen Schmerling, a seasoned Field Organizer for Lizzie Fletcher, teach us “tricks of the trade” to effectively call and engage voters by phone. Then – it’s easy!
You can be a “force for change” by phone-banking!
